Printed lanyards: what to prepare

Choose the width first: 16 mm is slim and light for younger students, while 20 mm is the common school and office width with more room for a name and logo. Then pick the hook, decide whether children need a safety breakaway, and upload your logo. You approve a proof before anything is printed.

Include these details

Width: 16 mm (₹15) or 20 mm (₹18) per lanyard
The text to repeat, such as the school or company name, and your logo
Ribbon colour and text colour, or your brand colours
Hook type, and whether you need a safety breakaway or detachable buckle
Whether each lanyard needs a card pouch or hard holder

Small checks that prevent reprints

For children, choose a safety breakaway so the lanyard opens if it is pulled.
Short names read best: long names are printed smaller to fit the ribbon width.
Send your logo as a high-resolution PNG or a vector file, not a WhatsApp screenshot.
Order a few spare lanyards for new admissions and replacements during the year.

What is the difference between 16 mm and 20 mm lanyards?

16 mm lanyards are slimmer and lighter, often chosen for primary classes and events. 20 mm lanyards are the usual width for schools, colleges and offices and give the printed name and logo more space.
