Attendance is the most-used screen in any school, so it has to be fast. Teachers mark a whole class present in one click and change only the exceptions. At the gate, a phone or tablet scans the QR code on each student’s or employee’s ID card and marks them in or out automatically.
Saved attendance is protected: an absence can be corrected to Late by the teacher but not quietly changed to Present, and an administrator can override a genuine mistake. Parents are told the first time their child is marked absent, and the front desk gets a daily absentee call list.

The scanner reads the QR code printed on your ID cards, so the cards are part of the attendance system. ICardPrint prints the QR from the ERP data on durable PVC that survives a year of daily scanning.
Do we need special attendance hardware?
No. An ordinary Android phone or tablet with a camera works as the QR scanner. You only need one per gate or entrance.
Can staff and students use the same scanner?
Yes. Staff are checked in and out; students are marked present. The kiosk knows which is which from the card.
What if a card is lost or damaged?
The scanner has a manual field to type the code, and a replacement card can be printed from the same record.
Can we add face verification later?
Yes. Face attendance is an add-on that works with the same kiosk and the same attendance register.
