Face recognition on CCTV needs good reference photos. The same verified photos used on ICardPrint ID cards and for face attendance are used to recognise people on camera.
Can it use our existing CCTV cameras?
Usually yes, if the recorder can provide RTSP streams. How many cameras can be analysed at once depends on what your recorder can serve, which we check before quoting.
Does it replace a security guard?
No. It helps guards and wardens notice things sooner and keeps an accountable record of what was seen and how it was handled.
Who receives alerts?
Only the staff you put on the alert list, at the severity levels you choose.
Can it recognise students on camera?
Recognition depends on camera angle, distance and resolution. Close, well-lit cameras at entrances work far better than wide overview cameras; we tell you honestly what to expect after the survey.
